DALLAS, I LOVE YOU

... so much for being a homie.
I AM SICK!
As in literally, yes.
Any local recording company
would call me up like real soon,
for I sound terrible.
OKAY, read the above sentence again.
The side effects of staying at home for too long a time
= overflow of sarcasm
Or probably, it runs in the blood.
I had just experienced my Mom being sarcastic
to a random woman days ago.

I did post an entry before actually,
and Blogger had to die on me.
Damnation.

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier,
I am sick;
down with a terrible cough and a block nose.

| Mom was saying:

" I wonder how you can get sick by staying at home and not during the 3 months that you have been home late from school, running almost everywhere for your projects (She meant me getting lost with Gatal and England) and having 4 hours of sleep everyday"

| and of course I had to reply:

"Mom, its called passion. Passion keeps you going no matter how hard an obstacle can get."

There was silence.
Well, she always do that when she knows
I'm out to irritate her with my bull reasoning.
But she made a good point there.

A lady called a few nights ago
and I thought she has a sexy voice.
She called for me to attend Awards Ceremony at my previous school.
Its either she's psychic or my voice gave it away,
but she could make a good saleswoman for trying to persuade me to attend
the event despite my hesitation.
Though she failed terribly cause I was just giving in
to her and gave her a false assurance that she could expect my presence
so that she could put down the darn phone and let me have my sleep.

And here comes Fate providing me with an excuse to not attend,
for the day of the ceremony coincides with Induction Day and FMS FOC Camp.
She reckoned that I weigh the importance of the event,
but hell cares.
Woman, I would not bother to come all the way back to that school
to receive a 10 dollars voucher.
Where's the worth?
Besides, I am not proud to receive the award.
Like HELLO, I did not even meet my expectations.
In fact, I was devastated to attain a mere A2 for the subject.
Yes, A2 is still a good grade,
but if you can attain a better grade and you failed to do so,
disappointment befriends you.
I am not being a pain in the ass here,
but put yourself in my shoes.
I stink in Maths and Science so my languages have to be impressive.
And now, I have O grades that are identical to most of them.
Where's Justice Boa hiding?

| I recalled Mr Teng saying:

"Zawani, I have full confidence in you that you can attain distinction for your Lit, so no worries."

I worked so hard on my Lit yet a B3 was what I got.
Screw it.
Oh gosh, I thought the discontentment and disappointment were long gone.
How wrong can I get?

I should not be too hard on that lady,
its not her fault that she is now stuck in that darn school.
Though the teachers there are like awesome.
Do not read me wrongly,
I am not against the school.
Well, let's just say,
I realised I need to stick to a place where I rightfully belong
so that the sense of belonging can push me to give my contributions
to the school and hold up to the good reputation.

Why bother holding up to the good name when the existing people
there are oblivious towards it?

Oh well,
you can probably sense how worked up I can get when it involves
my language grades and my previous school.
I should spend some time outside so I won't be killing time
thinking about it.

On the positive note,
I managed to compose another song,
though I hate the melodies.
I am not at fault;
I was born partially tone deaf.
Also, an addition to my poem lists
and that builds up to 71 masterpieces!
COOLNESS.

I think I have written enough for now,
and if there are any discrepancies or confusion
with regards to this post,
you are not at fault.
My brain was not functioning at the very start of the post.

oh, and I LOVE MY DALLAS.
