pretty boys on a morning walk

Location Video Production (Adaptation Project): Freedom

All went really well. As the producer of Miracle Man Production team, I would like to extend my gratitude to all casts involved; Rahmann (apologise for the last minute call, but glad you could make it), Haq, Zul, Rasyidah, Hannah, Aini and the rest. You were all awesome. Thank you for your dedication, time and patience, especially to Haq and Zul who had to wait for hours, for the two days.

We are very honoured to have such dedicated and talented crew, especially Haq and Rahmann. Honestly, didn't know Rahmann could act so well; hidden talent perhaps. And to Zul, yes, you have a sexyback that could not stop me from laughing my head off.

And to my lovely ladies, you babes were awesome. Thank you, Hannah, for bringing out an alternative to make the cult gathering more convincing. And Aini, don't you worry, you're wonderful, honey. I miss you so much, though its saddens me for not being able to catch up with you yesterday, since I'm so preoccupied with my filming.

And finally, to the Miracle Man Production team, we so rock! Miracle Man/Ten Pointer, you're a great director, and we appreciate you! Sot and Zaf, we are all good in our own ways. Despite our arguments and disagreements, we all know that we have each other's interest at heart (or more like, grades at stake). I enjoyed myself throughout the two days of filming, it was such an experience.

We will be meeting Heng Han/ Harry Potter for consultation today. We are all secretly hoping he would compliment us for our efforts, since we worked our ass off for this production.

I'll be looking forward to the final year project.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Direct Polytechnic Admission 2008

The Direct Polytechnic Admission is on the roll again, open for all O level students, this year. The application begins this July. As Viks have stated in her blog, those pictures in Ngee Ann's website aren't DPA students. Yes, I'm going to take a peek at those freshies. Come to think about it, I'm so envious of them. They are enrolling into an experience thats worth more than a million bucks. I would trade anything for it. Its the hard reality that we are not able to relive the moment.

On this note, I miss DPA FMS.

Alfian Saat

I was supposed to be back home early today, after successfully digitizing the shoots taken 2 days ago. The sound did not fail on us, like we thought it would. So, we all became happy kids. I was on Neopets, Elston on Death Note and the girls on some random youtube channels, searching for some videos to chortle at.

While on the journey home, I decided to make a detour and gave Lot 1 library a visit. I had to pay my fines (wow, it was 60 cents and I was only late for a day); two books for Iliyas, one logo book meant for Graph Com research (weeeeeee, submitted) and a Shakespear book; collection of his works. (I failed to immerse myself into his world, cause everytime I tried to do so, I kept thinking of the piles of assignment that will haunt me down, with any more delay on my part. )

As I was walking down the shelves, I decided to hunt for Alfian Saat's works. I made used of the computer to search for availability, and Lady Luck was smiling on me. After several hours of hunting, much to my excitement, I managed to find two books; A History of Amnesia and One Fierce Hour. The Malay book was difficult to find though. I was putting on a desperate face and I must have been on an awkward position because many turned to look at me. Thats when I realised that I had; my butt sticked out like a cheap sale, bag hanging low on one shoulder, mouth wide opened while panting, eyes wide open in search of ALF or SAA on the book tag and fingers harassing those books. It might have been an ugly sight, for a head dressed girl to be on such a pose, so I had to regain my composure and pretend nothing happened.

A moment like this, it always makes me feel that I have this comedian face that can set anyone in laughter. Its probably my expression, its always exaggerated but I can never do the same in dramas or stage performances. I wonder why. Its as though I can tickle one's funny bone without a touch.

Right, so I am in love with Alfian Saat's works, and I thank Huda for the introduction. My mum thinks I'm sickly infatuated again, but this time its intangible. I am infatuated with Alfian Saat's intellectual and his sense of humour. She kept emphasizing to me that he is gay, and I rebutted rather defensively that not many Malay guys can write really well and be famous for something good and recommendable. Yes, he might have been foolish to drop out from his medical degree, but he's still doing well, isn't he? And thats when my mum had to agree with me, and I won. Probably, thats because I am making sense while most of the days, I am out to annoy her with my ridiculous theories.

I wasn't aware that Matt Dallas was on James Blunt music video of "Goodbye My Lover" until I searched him out in Wikipedia. Apparently, he was paired up with Mischa Barton from The O.C, for some passionate scenes here and there. There are also some random shoots of streets and unfamiliar places, probably to enhance the ambience.

This has been a very long post. May you readers spend the last pieces of the day with much optimism and contentment.
